HOW TO ORDER AT THE PRINT SHOP

We’re updating our pricing and ordering policies to better serve our community in 2025. Please read the details carefully to ensure a smooth ordering process. We appreciate your continued support and understanding as we implement these updates!

Please Note: The Print Shop Makerspace and Classroom is a program of Holyoke Art, a non-profit organization dedicated to facilitating arts programing and cultural events in the city. While we are not a retail copy or sign shop, the services we offer generate essential revenue to support our programs. Whenever possible, orders are incorporated into workskills training programs for Holyoke youth, providing valuable hands-on learning opportunities. Your orders directly contribute to this mission, and we thank you for your support.
Ordering and Payment Terms

Orders Under $300: Payment is required in full at the time the order is placed. Minimum order is $20 for non-members

Orders Over $300: A 50% deposit is required at the time of order placement. The balance is due before or at the time of pickup.

Net 30 Terms: These terms are available exclusively for Members on DIY material slips.

Individuals and organizations seeking Net 30 terms on standard orders must hold an active Print Shop membership.

How to Pay:

An electronic invoice will be emailed via Square, allowing you to pay securely online with a card.

Payments can also be made by mailing a check payable to Print Shop Inc. at 62 Main St, Holyoke, MA 01040.

In-person payments are accepted at the Print Shop via cash, check, card, Cash App, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.

Orders will not be started, and supplies will not be ordered until full payment or the initial deposit is received.

Design and Setup Fees

A setup/design fee will be applied to any files that are not print-ready.
Print-Ready File Standards
To ensure the best print quality and avoid delays, please adhere to the following print-ready file standards:

File Formats: Accepted formats include .jpeg, .tiff, .png, .pdf, .svg, and .eps.

Color Profile: Files should be submitted in a CMYK color profile for accurate color reproduction.

Vector Files: For large-format printing, vector files (e.g., .pdf, .svg, .eps) are recommended as they produce the best results.

Please ensure that all text is outlined in vector files to avoid font compatibility issues.

Resolution: Image files should have a resolution of at least 300 dpi to avoid pixelation and maintain print quality.
Placing Orders
To place an order, please email orders@printshopholyoke.org with the following:

Order details (item(s requested, quantity, specifications, deadlines, etc.).

Print-ready files attached.
For inquiries or questions about your order, feel free to use the same email address, and our team will get back to you promptly.
By placing your order with us, you’re not only receiving quality service but also supporting a non-profit initiative that empowers our community through skills training and education. We’re excited to work with you!
Order Pickup
When your order is ready, you will receive an email notification. If there is a balance due, the email will include a link to complete payment online. Once any remaining payment has been completed, your order will be placed on the shelf just inside the door at 62 Main Street, Holyoke, available daily for pickup between 9 AM and 9 PM.
